WorkSmart Career Support Program

WorkSmart speaking 

The WorkSmart Speaking component helps participants develop confidence in workplace communication through practical, real-world conversations. Features include:

  • Confidence in speaking with native english speakers – Learn to communicate clearly and effectively in professional settings.
  • Industry-specific role-plays – Engage in simulated workplace interactions, such as customer service exchanges, team meetings, and professional networking.
  • Diverse learning environment – Practice conversations with a variety of nationalities to prepare for multicultural workplaces.

Practice interview with real industry professional

Preparing for job interviews can be challenging, especially in a new cultural and professional environment. The WorkSmart Career Support Program offers mock interviews with real industry professionals to enhance your interview performance. Participants will:

  • Experience real-world interview scenarios across different industries, such as hospitality, construction, and customer service.
  • Receive personalised feedback on communication, confidence, and professionalism from industry experts.
  • Learn proven job application strategies, including how to answer common interview questions, showcase soft skills, and present work experience effectively.

Program Overview

This program is structured to equip participants with the essential skills and give you the confidence necessary to excel in an interview situation and other every-day professional interactions within an Australian workplace.

This course will assist participants with assistance and support in a variety of ways.

Career Support will include:

  • Identifying and assessing job goal
  • Australian Business Ettiquette
  • Soft skills and their importance
  • Job Search skills – including researching the hidden job market and the importance of networking
  • Updating your resume and customising cover letters- tips and tricks
  • Presentation and customer service skills
  • Interview Skills- Analysing expected questions that prospective employers will ask and Role Play
 

The duration of this program is 3 weeks.

While there are no specific entry requirements for this program, please be advised that it is offered exclusively as an add-on option to existing programs in Health Care and Hospitality. It is not available as a standalone program.

3 weeks – Now 295 (Before: $350)

Monday – Sunday
Morning Class: 9:30am – 11:30am
Afternoon Class: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Evening Class: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Upon successful completion you will receive a certificate of attendance for Career Support.
