Getting industry license requirement

Navigating industry regulations can be complex, but we make the process simple. The WorkSmart Hospitality Program provides step-by-step guidance on obtaining the necessary industry licenses for employment in hospitality. Whether it’s your RSA or RCG certification, we ensure you meet the legal requirements to work in licensed venues across Australia.

We also provide resources on additional licensing conditions that may apply in different states, helping you stay informed and job-ready.

WorkSmart speaking 

Our WorkSmart program focus on real-life hospitality scenarios, helping participants build confidence in interacting with customers, colleagues, and supervisors. Key features include:

  • Confidence in speaking – Learn how to communicate clearly and professionally with native English-speaking customers and employers.
  • Real-world hospitality situations – Practice conversations commonly encountered in restaurants, bars, hotels, and other service settings.
  • Diverse learning environment – Engage with a multicultural cohort, allowing you to adapt to different accents and communication styles in an inclusive setting.

Practice interview with real industry professionals

Preparing for job interviews can be daunting, but our program gives you hands-on experience with real industry professionals. Through mock interviews and personalized feedback, you will:

  • Gain insights from experienced hospitality employers on what they look for in candidates.
  • Practice responding to common interview questions in a structured, supportive environment.
  • Receive constructive feedback on body language, communication style, and overall presentation to enhance your confidence and employability.

Program Overview

This course will provide participants with support and knowledge in workplace safety, injury management, and career development skills. 

The White Card course will include:  

  • Safe work practices 
  • Risk Management and Accident Prevention 
  • Personal Protective Equipment  
  • Workplace Injury Management 

Career Support will include: 

  • Australian Business Etiquette 
  • Strategies for Job Searching, Updating Resumes, and Tailoring Cover Letters. 
  • Soft Skills and Interview Techniques  

3 Weeks

To be eligible to enrol, learners must:  

  • undertake an online LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the program 
  • be at least 14 years of age (upon commencement of training) 
  • have access to the following items of PPE, which must meet Australian Standards indicated for each 
  • Eye protection – AS1337.1 Personal eye protection Eye and face protectors for occupational applications 
  • Hearing protection – AS/NZS 1270 Acoustics – Hearing protectors 
  • Head protection (hard hat) – AS/NZS 1801 Occupational protective helmets 
  • High visibility vest – AS/NZS 4602.1 High visibility safety garments class day/night 

*Learners who cannot produce all items of PPE and/or ID as specified above will not be allowed into the class. No refunds will be granted for learners who fail to bring the required items of PPE and / or original identification as detailed above. 

3 weeks – Now 650 (Before: $770)

Monday – Sunday
Morning Class: 9:30am – 11:30am
Afternoon Class: 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Evening Class: 5:00pm – 7:00pm

Upon successful completion of this unit, learners will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (SoA) in CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry, a SafeWork NSW “Statement of Training” (SoT) (valid for 60 days) and a certificate of attendance for Career Support.  

SafeWork NSW will post Your White Card will be posted to you by SafeWork to the mailing address you provided during enrolment. This can take up to 60 days.
